I’m not sick! I’m not sick! I’m not sick!
That’s what I’ve been telling myself. I woke up feeling feverish this afternoon. Yes, I woke up in the afternoon, close to 2pm. I couldn’t sleep last night. I had blocked nose. Every time I almost fell asleep, I was woken up. It was frigging annoying. I don’t know what time I fell asleep but I woke up at 6 something in the morning while the kids are about to go to school. Then I shifted place and fell back to sleep and woke up in the noon.
When I woke up, I got a text message from Esli. Replied to her and then off to shower. After my shower, the kids were back. My niece had a sandwich making competition and she and her partner won the first place since they had the highest score. They were through the preliminary rounds and will be off to the next round. I was wishing my niece would make me a sample of her sandwich but I ended up making my own sandwich and preparing lunch for them. Sigh! Life of a young aunt, haha!
I just have to mention this. My second brother is a pig. He will eat whatever nonsense from the kitchen. And it happens every time he is home. Now that he is no longer working, the kitchen will be war zone.
Met Esli in the evening. I was happily playing “Jane’s Hotel” from y8.com when she text me that she was already waiting for the bus. I finish up the last level and off to change my clothes. I thought of walking to Junction 8 but decided that it will take a longer time for me to reach and I bet Esli would have already boarded the bus. I was right cause she text me when I was on my way to the bus-stop. So I took the bus!
Had dinner at McDonald’s. I had the 6-piece nuggets meal. And yes, I had a cold drink; coke. Is it true that coke is good when you had a cough? Come on, a little bit of rule-breaking doesn’t hurt, does it? I eat my medicines, okay! It still counts as taking good care of myself. After we had finished our meal, while we were surfing the net, the lights actually went out. McDonald’s turned dark and silent. I heard a boy said there was a short circuit. It only happened to McDonald’s. So the manager had to go around telling the customers that they will get the kitchen running or something like that. Of course, my imagination mind is always on the go and I ended up saying, “Next thing you know, this place blows up.” Oops! Too many action movies!
Oh! Earlier in the day, I don’t know how many packets of tissues I had used up. I had a cold and I kept blowing my nose off. This totally sucks and my voice is creepy. I just had to constantly blow my nose. I don’t know for how long this is going to happen.
My nephew just made himself a sandwich and he let me taste it. Oh my god! It’s fucking delicious! It’s a normal sandwich made using French loaf from Delifrance. Damn, it’s nice.

First thing first, I did not go for my IG training today. I’m sick! I’m coughing, I have a sore throat and there is phlegm in my throat. Urgh! That sucks! With the Singapore weather going crazy at the moment, I am freezing! I felt like my bones are stinging. Right, I don’t know if that’s the right word but imagine if you were running a fever, you know how your bones felt. It just feels funny.
Since mother bought this Prego cream sauce for spaghetti on Saturday, I decided to cook some cream sauce spaghetti!

You don’t know how much I’ve been thinking about making cream sauce spaghetti. I had been thinking about trying it out for weeks! Today is my first try and it turns out perfect; at least for me. My nephew couldn’t get enough of it. He had two plates on the first take, continue another plate at a later time and then he finished it clean after dinner. I caught my brother licking the sauce off the plate, haha! Hmm… it must be that delicious, aye? My parents said that it is nice. Yay! My first brother ate it but he didn’t give any comments. He’s always keeping good things unspoken (I assume my cream sauce spaghetti is for the win). Did I mention my niece? Ah, who cares what she thinks. She’s more into rice than spaghettis. I guess my best evaluation comes from my nephew. Ooh yeah.
Later at night, I accompanied my niece down to the shops to get the black printer ink. Along the way, we need to buy other stuffs as well. Once we head home, at the door, I remember that I had forgotten to buy bread! I told my niece and she said we had to head back down. I put the keys back and we went down again, without putting our things in the house. Lol!
The other day, mother ordered J'adore perfume from Christian Dior. My cousin uses it and she likes the smell. And today, she surprise me with another perfume! Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. I love the smell and I told her before. Didn't expect she would buy it for me. She said it's for my birthday. Yay! Early birthday present from her. Come to think of it, two people had done something for my birthday this year. Thanks!
