The last weekend was over and it was rather eventful. Went for the Happy Tots thingy at Plaza Singapura with my cousin and her children but we didn’t stay long. It was just too crowded and my cousin isn’t a fan of crowds. My other relatives were there too. We bid them farewell and went to Orchard. Finally I’ve been to Orchard Ion and I have to say it’s huge. We didn’t really walk the whole mall but just happen to be inside. My little nephews had late lunch at McDonald’s and then we head home.
On Sunday, I met my girls – Tin Tin & the Backgrounds. Haha, is that really our new band name? Anyway, Ad fetched me at Pasir Ris and drove to Changi Airport. We had dinner from Popeye’s but sat at the viewing gallery. After some time, head over to terminal 1 for Shai had to meet her friend who’s flying to Australia for attachment. We finally went home, with Shai going on separate ways with her boyfriend and the rest of us head to the carpark because Ad sent Kaye and me to Pasir Ris. When we’ve reached Pasir Ris, Ad the crazy woman driver kept jam-breaking that I thought I was going to flew out of the car. Hahaha! But it isn’t her fault; Kaye was calling her “aunty”, like she’s the taxi driver. Too funny! I reached home near midnight.
Had gamelan practices on Tuesday and Wednesday but managed to stay home on Monday and Thursday. It feels good to be home, although that does not necessarily mean I was at peace. And later on Friday, we have a meeting with the TRCC people. Man, I feel the pressure.
Yesterday, about six something in the morning, I wanted to fall asleep and out of a sudden I had this bad experience. I woke up feeling scared to fall back to sleep, despite my eyes feeling so heavy. It’s been a long time since I had that experience. And right now, I have to admit I don’t want to fall asleep. Of course, without my knowledge yesterday, I did fell asleep... peacefully this time.
By the way, I added another thing to my wish list. I want a soccer ball. And, Kaye told me she'll get me one of the OST from Boys Over Flowers. I told her to get me the one that comes with the poster. Wee!
