Yesterday, I woke up to an unexpected trip to the airport. Followed my parents to fetch my first brother with his wife, cause they just came back from Bali. Yeah, a lot of people went to Bali this month and last month. Tell me about it. Then we sent them to the in-laws house.
After that, we took a trip to the area near Kranji Reservoir. My parents wanted to check out this place called Bollywood Veggies. It’s set amidst the rustic splendour of the Kranji countryside. Countryside, yes, cause it’s covered with greeneries and is quite away of urban pollution. I think that this area is really a nice place to go, provided if you have your own vehicle. Now don’t go at night and try to seek “adventure”, as you’ll never know what’s lurking during the witching hour.
Halfway through the “countryside”, my nephew vomited in the car. God! Only God knows how much I couldn’t stand other people’s puke. I had to be strong, in order for myself to not puke too. Ever since I was young, I cannot smell other people’s vomit or I will vomit as well. Luckily, maybe because I had grown and I’m much stronger, I was able to stand it and even help clean it up a little.
I thought we could go home after this scenario but boy was I wrong! We still went to Jurong East to buy some stuffs. Fortunately, my brother gave us the t-shirts he bought for the nephews so my nephew changed his t-shirt at the toilet. And then everything went back to normal. I can’t believe I was strong enough to stand the vomit! It’s disgusting, I know.
Today, went to school to partake in GNK’s spring cleaning. Trust me, I am a lazy person back at home and my mum always makes noise on how lazy I was with cleaning. But hey, I’m sure I can do cleaning too, anytime when I want. It’s funny how some of us are so hardworking somewhere else but not at home. I guess that’s just human, aye?
It has been a busy week; from having interview, to going out, to wishing and celebrating friend’s birthday. I have to say it has been an enjoyable ride. When I look back at this past week, it has been an awesome week. Filled with smiles and laughter, as well as new experiences. It’s safe to say that it is the best week of my school holiday.
To all my friends who celebrated their birthday this week, here’s a belated shout-out to all of you on my blog:
March 22nd: Happy 22nd Birthday, bestie! It’s such an awesome timing, for your age meets your birthdate. So, I hope 22nd will be such a great year for you.
March 24th: Happy birthday to Shiya and Hidayah. They turned 19 and 22, respectively.
March 25th: Happy half-birthday to me! You know what this means? I just turned 6 months older from my last birthday. And another 6 more months to my next birthday!
March 26th: Adawiya, congratulations on turning 21. Welcome to the early twenties, haha!
March 27th: Last but not least, Happy Birthday to Karen Chng! Happy 22nd!
Best experience in RP? Having a laptop of your own, haha! Nah, kidding. I guess meeting lots of people and going through all the fun moments.
And in GNK? Getting to know all the funny funny people that makes me laugh non-stop, and also the opportunity to perform and learn lots of things about professionalism and how things work.
If it's for the better, no.
I can’t believe I am hungry at this hour. It’s already past midnight. Don’t tell me I won’t be able to sleep again due to hunger? Last night was horrible, it was like a nightmare. I couldn’t fall asleep at all.
Yesterday’s weather was nice. I love the rain, no doubt about it. Dad wanted to bring us out to cycle but unfortunately, it rained. But fortunately for me, the weather started to settle down after 5pm so I went for my jog. It was good.
I really hope I could fall asleep later. I can’t be relying on a few hours sleep every morning. That just isn’t good for me. Tomorrow shall be my rest day, and I hope I will be spending time with my cousin and her kids outside. My cousin has another interview tomorrow, so she plans to bring her kids out. And I’ll be there to babysit the kids while she’s away. Yeah!
Until then, goodnight readers.
Alright, so it has already been a month. I’m sorry for my absence. Okay, I talk as if a lot of people read my blog.
Everyone should know by now I am already having my school holidays. I haven’t been out abroad for a real vacation yet. Soon, hopefully. I might be going KL this April, during my parents’ anniversary. I’m dying to go on vacations, as always. Times like this I wish I am a rock star, always travelling. But I’m not, and I could only rely on my parents right now.
I got rained on today, while jogging. It was fun jogging in the drizzle, until the rain had to fall really heavily at the last moments of my jog. So I had to quickly head to a shelter.
What else should I include? Oh, I made a video of myself singing this Korean song and I’m thinking of uploading it on YouTube. Well, should I?
Guess that’s all for now. I’ll update again soon!
