Yesterday, I woke up to an unexpected trip to the airport. Followed my parents to fetch my first brother with his wife, cause they just came back from Bali. Yeah, a lot of people went to Bali this month and last month. Tell me about it. Then we sent them to the in-laws house.
After that, we took a trip to the area near Kranji Reservoir. My parents wanted to check out this place called Bollywood Veggies. It’s set amidst the rustic splendour of the Kranji countryside. Countryside, yes, cause it’s covered with greeneries and is quite away of urban pollution. I think that this area is really a nice place to go, provided if you have your own vehicle. Now don’t go at night and try to seek “adventure”, as you’ll never know what’s lurking during the witching hour.
Halfway through the “countryside”, my nephew vomited in the car. God! Only God knows how much I couldn’t stand other people’s puke. I had to be strong, in order for myself to not puke too. Ever since I was young, I cannot smell other people’s vomit or I will vomit as well. Luckily, maybe because I had grown and I’m much stronger, I was able to stand it and even help clean it up a little.
I thought we could go home after this scenario but boy was I wrong! We still went to Jurong East to buy some stuffs. Fortunately, my brother gave us the t-shirts he bought for the nephews so my nephew changed his t-shirt at the toilet. And then everything went back to normal. I can’t believe I was strong enough to stand the vomit! It’s disgusting, I know.
Today, went to school to partake in GNK’s spring cleaning. Trust me, I am a lazy person back at home and my mum always makes noise on how lazy I was with cleaning. But hey, I’m sure I can do cleaning too, anytime when I want. It’s funny how some of us are so hardworking somewhere else but not at home. I guess that’s just human, aye?
