Went for a tetanus immunisation yesterday, after the briefing with parents. I asked the doctor if any arm would be alright, but he said I can choose the non-dominant arm. What he told me is that the injection will sting a little, like an ant bite. That is very normal to me. What I didn’t know, is that there will be side effects. By yesterday night, my arm was already hurting. When I woke up today, my arm totally stings! It hurts like crazy that I couldn’t lift it up an inch.
I thought I had an allergy, so I went to Google and search on it if it is normal to feel pain after an injection. Apparently, for tetanus immunisation, side effects are there! Some have horror stories like the pain resides from days to weeks, while others felt sick, nauseous, or have body ache. I’m glad mine is only pain on my arm.
I am supposed to be studying today but this pain is distracting me. I feel weak, and I complain too much. I hope this pain goes away as soon as possible or I am not going to function properly. PLEASE! If you don’t know what is tetanus immunisation, please Google it yourself. Thank you very much. I love you.
